What is a Healthy Home? It’s a place where
families can take comfort in knowing that tobacco use isn’t going to ruin
lives....it’s a place where the dangers of secondhand smoke have been
eliminated....it’s a place where children are safe from the health risks that
smoking poses for their young growing bodies.
Most importantly, it’s a home where families can openly talk about the dangers of tobacco and then prevent its use.
We hope that you will take some time TODAY to sit down with the other members of your family, talk about tobacco use in your household, and then eliminate smoking from your home. Let’s all work together to help those already smoking to stop and to prevent the other members of your family from starting. It’s never too early or too late to talk about it.
