EventsThe Underage Drinking Prevention: Town Hall Meetings are part of a national effort to increase understanding and awareness of underage drinking and its consequences, and to encourage individuals, families, and communities to address the problem. NECASA's local Underage Drinking Prevention: Town Hall Meetings will give parents, community leaders and local prevention experts in Northeast Connecticut the opportunity to come together to learn more about the new research on underage drinking and its impact on both individuals and our community, and to discuss how we can best prevent underage alcohol use. For more information on the national initiative go to http://www.stopalcoholabuse.gov/townhall/ SAMHSA Reach Out Now National Teach In Prevent Underage Drinking, April 3-7, 2006.
